Come and enjoy a relaxing break in a traditional farmhouse that is almost 200 years old- but with all the mod cons you would expect, including wireless broadband internet, so it is internet-friendly/ internet available at no extra cost throughout your stay, flatscreen tv and microwave amongst others, with a lovely old fashioned Aga range to cook on if you prefer in the traditional farmhouse kitchen. There are two comfortable living rooms, 3 double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, so this gorgeous home-from-home self-catering accommodation holiday cottage can comfortably sleep 8. B&B (Bed & Breakfast) with delicious fresh local foodalso available, sleeps up to 8 people comfortably.
We are also a great place to stay for anyone who is looking for some privacy and seclusion in a quiet, unspoiled part of England.

There are numerous beautiful and interesting tourist destinations in the area, with places to visit including Walcott Beach, North Walsham market town, the ancient Norman church at Happisburgh, a Seal Sanctuary, and two nearby National Trust properties (Blickling Estate and Felbrigg Hall) and the 900 year old remains of Bronholm priory; more details can be found in the pages on this site and in the brochures that will be left for you. |

A great location in the pretty village of Ridlington, near North Walsham, only 5 miles from two well serviced towns, and less than 15 miles to the seaside resort of Cromer and 5 miles from Acle,
known as 'the gateway to the Norfolk broads'. |

For walkers/ ramblers and cyclists/ cycling groups, the Bacton woods, acres and acres of cycle and byway routes through undulating densly woven forest land, are less than 5 miles away. They are thought to have been present, uninterrupted, since Saxon times. |

Our local beach is less than half a mile away, the area is great for fishing/ fishermen, and whether you are a bargain hunter or discerning antiques collector, you are sure to find something of interest at the weekly antique and bric-a-brac auctions at Acle, Aylsham and Great Yarmouth. |

We make a great base for exploring the North Norfolk Steam Railway Poppy Line, or for attending the 1940s weekend at Sheringham! |

The surrounding countryside is very relaxing. Most of the day, the only sound is of birds singing in the garden!
